Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LumFlox Labs ("LumFlox", "we", "us") handles personal information when you visit our website, book a call with us, or use the LumFlox service (our missed-call recovery system, lead dashboard/app, and hosted websites).
1. Who is who
For visitors to this website and for our own customers (the businesses that sign up for LumFlox), we are the business responsible for your information. For the people who call or fill out a form on a customer's phone number or website ("end contacts"), the customer decides why their information is collected and we process it on the customer's behalf, as a service provider.
2. Information we collect
- From visitors and customers: name, business name, email, phone number, billing details (handled by our payment provider), and what you send us when you book a call or contact us.
- Through the service, about end contacts: caller phone number, date and time of the call, call status (for example missed, recovered, won or lost), the details submitted through contact forms on a customer's website (such as name, phone, email and message), and any notes or estimated job value the customer adds.
- Technical data: basic device and log information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) needed to deliver and secure the site and app.
3. How we use information
- To detect missed calls, send alerts (for example on Telegram or in the app) and show leads in the dashboard.
- To build, host, maintain and support customer websites and the LumFlox app.
- To bill customers, answer questions, and send service messages.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use end-contact data for our own advertising.
4. Service providers we rely on
We share information only with providers that help us run the service, under appropriate terms. These include:
- Telephony and messaging (e.g. Twilio) to forward calls and detect missed calls.
- Database and authentication (e.g. Supabase) to store leads and accounts.
- Telegram, to deliver alerts to customers who choose to receive them there.
- Calendly, to schedule intro calls.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, and our payment processor.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and the security of the service, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect information about their callers and form submitters, including any notices or consents required by law (for example call-recording or text-messaging rules). See our Terms of Service.
6. Retention
We keep information for as long as the customer's account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period after the account ends, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (for example billing records).
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states, or the EEA/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To make a request, email hello@lumfloxlabs.com. If you are an end contact of one of our customers, we may direct your request to that customer. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Cookies
This website uses only what is needed to work. Third-party tools we embed, such as the Calendly scheduler, may set their own cookies under their own policies.
10. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
11. International transfers
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for material changes, notify customers by email or in the app.
